  • AGE REQUIREMENTS
    There are no age requirements for riders. Our youth cars can be driven by a youth 10-16 with a licensed adult in the car. Depending on the size of the smaller children, they can be a passenger in either a youth or an adult car as long as the driver is an adult. If the child is too small to be safely buckled in, they can ride in the lap of an adult passenger or be buckled into a safety child car seat which you provide. We do NOT provide child car seats. Minors are 17 and below, and adults are 18 and older.
  • HOURS OF OPERATION
    We are open 7 days a week (weather permitting), 10 am – 6 pm (sunset)
    I.D.’s
    A driver’s license is not required in order to rent our cars. However, all adults must fill out a waiver which requires a valid I.D. that we will have to see in order to verify the individual. I.D.’s which are accepted are: driver’s license, learner’s permit, state I.D., passport, foreign I.D., etc. –
  • LOCATION/DIRECTIONS
    23290 Park Road 100, South Padre Island, Texas. Across from County Beach Access #6, four miles north of the Convention Center, next to the Redline Helicopter Tours.
  • PERSONAL ATVs
    Unfortunately, due to insurance/liability issues and county laws/regulations, personal ATVs are not allowed at our track or in the dunes or on the beach.
  • PRICES
    We charge per car, not per person. All cars hold two people.
    • Track is $40 for an adult car and $35 for a youth car per 15 minute session on our track. This includes an introduction to the track guided lap.
    • Guided Tour – Check our reservations for current offerings. It changes based on the weather.
  • RESERVATIONS/WALK-INS
    We accept walk-in’s, however, reservations are recommended in order to reserve your time slot and expedite the check in process. The more you can get completed on-line (reservations, payment and especially everyone’s waivers completed), the better and quicker check in time will be.

    La pista tiene media milla de largo y cubre 3 1/2 acres. El precio es de $40 por auto por sesión para los autos para adultos y $35 por sesión para el auto para jóvenes (de 10 a 16 años). Cada coche tiene capacidad para 2 personas. Las sesiones duran unos 15 minutos en total. Puedes adquirir varias sesiones.   • SPEED OF CARS
    The adult vehicles are limited to 26 mph and the youth vehicles are 18-20 mph. Our track has many switchbacks, twists and turns and limited straight aways so it’s a driving skill challenge rather than a speed course. This makes for a very exiting drive!
  • SESSION INFO
    The track is 1/2 mile long and covers 3 1/2 acres. Your first lap is a guided lap to introduce you to the track. Then you are on your own for your session. Sometimes the track groomer may keep the track smooth during your session. Track sessions are approximately 15 minutes regardless of how fast you drive or how many laps you do.
  • TRACK CONDITIONS
    The track is all beach sand. Track conditions change often depending on driver’s skill, grooming, usage and weather.
  • BEST DEAL
    For the best deals, you can purchase a multi-session package available on line only. Or, purchase a double session which will be approximately 30 minutes and includes some by yourself track time.
